Basic hotel accommodation with poor housekeeping

This Microtel is located in the middle of the town of Lac Mégantic in the new area rebuilt after a major train crash where 48 people died. My wife and I had booked three nights but decided to check out early after two nights. The hotel is clean, centrally located (short walk to the lake), and it offers basic overnight accommodations. The bed was very comfortable, the front desk staff were kind, but (somewhat amazingly) after we needed to sign a piece of paper to request that someone clean our room and make the bed (while we were out all day), our room was not cleaned nor was the bed made. The “free” breakfast offered is very simple, so buy some extra food if you want a large breakfast. I do not think I will return to this place, because the price was high relative to its undersized rooms and poor housekeeping.

Disappointments

Spend one night at the end of a day snowmobiling clean room well teamed, disaster the worst lunch of all the hotel. In a brown bag 1 flat cold boiled egg an apple so small that it pity a frozen muffin an ordinary yogurt in a bag wow the double bed we had asked for a queen,,only 3 pillows, the nightstands 3 feet from the bed and what about the soundproofing quite deplorable

Be advised...

To start well, it’s new, it’s beautiful, it’s clean and the staff at the weekend were friendly and kind, I was there 2 nights. But be advised that the snow removal from the outdoor parking is done at 5:30 am, that the ventilation of the heating stops...restarts...stops....restarts constantly and that the soundproofing is deficient (go watch the construction of the hotel on YouTube...you will understand why) So, knowing that the vocation of a hotel is to make people sleep...it really sucks. Moreover, for the price paid, the lunch is not up to the standard, it would be more honest to name the small brown paper bag... Snack. Good night!!!!

No breakfast to say, an old hard-boiled egg, a muffin, a small apple and a children's oasis.
Workers are demanding more from the chain too. Good good good 200 characters nothing more to say , thank you for doing better next time. That's all.

Clean, nice staff and bagged breakfast

The hotel was clean and new, which was fantastic. However, advertising breakfast as included—complete with enticing pictures—was misleading. What they actually provided was a bagged breakfast consisting of a tiny apple, yogurt, a hard-boiled egg, and a juice, which doesn’t justify the additional charge for “breakfast included.” I wouldn’t have chosen a different hotel just because breakfast wasn’t included, but paying the upcharge for something I didn’t even eat felt unfair.
