Great experience!

Miguel and his wife welcomed us with joy, courtesy and professionalism.
We stayed in a beautiful colonial house, spotless and fresh. The hostess, who, like her husband speaks perfect English, prepared us a delicious and colorful breakfast with lots of fresh fruit that delighted our palates and our eyes. Miguel, in addition to being a perfect host, acted as a Guide to the city showing and telling the past history of Santa Clara and explaining the current political and economic situation of this beautiful country. In addition, with his car, he provided us with an excellent taxi service with which he accompanied us both Trinidad and Varadero with an absolutely competitive price compared to many others.

A Little piece of Heaven in Santa Clara

It felt amazing to walk through the casa doors, welcomed into a beautifully restored home, bright colors, antique living and dining furniture. It was such a pleasure to have a full stream of warm water in the modern shower, I needed a good shower! The room felt so comfortable with clean fresh sheets and bedding, comfortable pillow and the biggest bonus was the great working air conditioner.
The property was in a central location, that allowed me the opportunity to explore easily on my own. The hosts were extremely helpful to make my exploration safe and easy. The host ensured that I knew how to travel were I was going and return with out difficulty. The gave me lot's of great directions. They were always welcoming and hospitable. I would suggest to be open to eating breakfast at the casa before heading out. For a small fee you will be given a fresh delicious plate of local fruits, toast, fresh made yogurt.
I was blessed to have the opportunity to experience a bit of traditional Cuban life for a short time. I would not hesitate to reccemend.

Great stay

We had a lovely stay at Miguel’s place in Santa Clara. It was ideal for exploring the town centre and Guevara mausoleum. Miguel plugged some suggested places to visit into our offline map app and his recommendations were excellent. I highly recommend staying at his place!

Miguel is a great host

Very well located place, the room was comfortable and safe. Miguel, the host, was very kind and helpful during my stay, giving me tips on getting to know the city and even helping me get transportation at reasonable prices. In addition, it offers a city tour experience, which allows you to learn about the rich history of Santa Clara in a short time.
I recommend this accommodation for its comfort and the ease it offers to those of us who visit the city for the first time.

The best guesthouse in town

Very well located in the city, we spent a few very pleasant days with Miguel and his family; He is very attentive and always offers sound advice to indicate good tips (restaurants, cafes, places to visit, travel, etc.). The colonial house that he restored is very pretty and very comfortable. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. He offered to pick us up and take us back to the Viazul bus terminal. You will have understood that it is one of our best experiences in Cuba!
