Always happy to be a guest in the post,
Unfortunately, our reservation in the restaurant didn't work out during this stay despite having been promised. We don't know that in the post office, seems to be down to the organization? What a shame, because the restaurant serves delicious Thuringian dishes and very friendly service.

The best house in town
I ate in the hotel restaurant 5 times this year. The staff were always friendly and service-oriented. The kitchen was always excellent. The pumpkin menu that is currently in place is unrivaled. The prices are very high for the Thuringian Forest, but for what you get on the plate, it is worth every cent.
The last time I stayed, the Postmarie cellar bar was open. A very nice, quaint, cozy bar. Highly recommended.
I would love to come back.

Clean, tidy rooms - functional bathroom
Sauna area available
Sufficient parking
And the restaurant is great with really good and well-selected dishes
And everything at a great price/performance ratio
Recommended!!!!

Never again to this hotel!
Far from it. The swimming pool in the photos is a 10-minute walk from the hotel. As a hotel guest, you are "allowed" to swim in the pool for an entire hour and a half free of charge.
This is a rip-off.
The wellness area is more than sad.
In conclusion: a wellness weekend without wellness.
In the evening, you were also bothered by the loud music festival until 10:30/11 p.m. "Tough luck, it's music summer..."
Fabulous breakfast? Haha, the breakfast was really disappointing for this category. The rolls were extremely sticky on the first day. On the second day, they were baked hard.
Slices of sausage and cheese were cut in half, the selection was really more than disappointing!
The staff are only accommodating if you praise the place to the skies. If you criticize the slightest (I've heard this from other guests too) you're immediately labeled as an unpleasant guest.
Another couple and I agree: for the price, you can expect a lot more in other regions, get what you're promised on Booking.com and are treated much better.

Ihre Bewertung haben wir mit Verwunderung zur Kenntnis genommen. Ein Wellnesswochenende hatten Sie nicht gebucht. Ihre Buchung belief sich über ein Standard-Einzelzimmer mit Frühstück. Sie erhielten vom Hotel ein kostenfreies Upgrade auf ein Doppelzimmer zur Alleinnutzung mit Balkon. Erst nach Ihrer Anreise haben sie unsere Wellnessangebote angefragt um sich wie sie selbst sagten "Spontan zu entscheiden". Wir bitten um Verständnis, dass so kurzfristig keine Termine mehr verfügbar waren. Die Nutzung des Bad Tabarzer Bäderspass (TABBS) unseres Kurortes ist ein Angebot der Kurverwaltung für seine Gäste, die sie mit Ihrer Gästekarte kostenfrei täglich nutzen konnten.
Ihre Einschätzung entspricht somit nicht den Tatsachen.
Als Gastgeber liegt uns das Wohl der Gäste am Herzen. Aus Rücksicht darauf haben wir Ihnen wegen des an diesem Wochenende stattgefundenen Musiksommer im 150m entfernten Kurpark ein ruhigeres Zimmer angeboten. Ihre Einschätzung zu unseren Mitarbeitern und zum Frühstück können wir nicht nachvollziehen.
Den Vorwurf der Nepper-Schlepper-Bauernfängerei haben wir dem Portal als Verstoß gemeldet.
