Room overlooking the small port ....

Hotel 3* - Family Hotel - Very well maintained , pleasant, welcoming staff, we advise, delicious and hearty breakfast. This hotel seems to be the meeting place of the villagers. On Sunday evening when we arrived a Lotto was held in the main hall. We loved the atmosphere.

Good option to sleep and with possibility to cook

To start this is not a hotel, here is a room and you share a kitchen, bathroom and shower. Once this has been clarified, check-in must be done at the Hotel that is in the port and then you must climb a few meters into a building that is the apartments. I had a triple room with a double bed and a single. The room has a donkey for hanging clothes and a sink. In the room everything fine, at night I noticed that a light bulb was missing from one of the bedside table lamps, but they are things that sometimes happen. The bathroom and toilet spotless and with nice decorative touches. The kitchenette is not very large, so you cannot match many guests at the same time. I saw coffee but no coffee maker. Comment that in my room the WIFI did not arrive, had to go to the hallway. It has easy parking. It's heated.

Our reservation was not is the system at first but the reception guy was helpful and our booking was confirmed so we got another room at the end. The hostel is a minute drive from the hotel. Had a cozy room and shared facilities with everything you need. Overall it was clean und recommendable.

Don't miss the breakfast

The hostel is very centrally located, not far from the hotel, directly opposite the pool of the place. The rooms are simple and perfectly fine. Only a few rooms share a common room, so here is enough opportunity to cook for yourself. However, we did without and went to one of the restaurants that are available in Djupivogur. The hotel staff was very friendly and eager to help. Breakfast was a bit expensive, but worth the price - there were a lot of different dishes and local specialties. Highly recommended.
