A comfortable stay at the swisbel hotel hotel cendrawasih biak
I stayed for two nights in the hotel swisbel hotel cendrawasih biak with the family. It is strategically located, close to shopping centers and tourist attractions.

1. Clean and comfortable rooms with beautiful city views.
2. Staff friendly and professional, ready to help.
3. The pool facilities and the gym are very good.
4. Delicious breakfast with varied menu options.

great for one night as stopover
• I stayed for a night in transit from Denpasar to my dive liveaboard
• I pre-arranged the airport transfer & paid the driver directly (200.000rph) – only to be later told that I allegedly had only given him 20.000rph (which I don’t agree with but wasn’t going to argue the point & ruin my experience – so be warned)
• I was charged 200.000rph for early check in of 4hrs (the only flight landed at 0700)
• This area is very very very remote – foreigner tourism barley exists
• This is an excellent hotel – good location with great amenities
• Across the road from the local two storey supermarket with ATMs, 24-hour bakery and a KFC. There’s a clothing store 200m down the road called Iriana that sold some limited souvenirs
• The pool area was somewhat disappointing – no where to enjoy the sun & no sun lounges (the adjacent seating area was undercover)
• The compact room was well appointed with everything you would expect in a major location – great comfortable bed, excellent linens & small bar fridge (set to too, not cold, so a quick change of the dial fixed that)
• The ensuite bathroom was small & awkward with the door opening/using toilet/entering shower, with shampoo/conditioner/soap toiletries & thin bath towels provided that needed replacing.
• Spa treatment – price online was 600.000rph but was told that was out of date & was now 875.000rph for my chosen package & had to be paid in cash (thankfully I had visited the ATM previously). Treatment was disappointingly mixed: face massage was only scalp (but amazing), she couldn’t do aromatherapy massage so agreed to reflexology (which was also amazing), the traditional massage was fabulous & the body scrub was non existent (just a tiny bit of exfoliator applied to the back of legs & back). The milk bath was only a bath of hot water with a body wash pump bottle. The worst thing was the 2 horrible threadbare brown towels used for modesty/drying off after the bath – they need to be replaced urgently! Could have done with a room diffuser & light music to improve the experience.
• As part of my promo booking, I was entitled to a free drink (buy 1, get 1 free) & 20% of dining – so make sure you screenshot your promo to show staff. Buffet breakfast was delicious but cold (all the hot server lids were left open) with fresh pancakes & omelette station
• WIFI was generally OK but patchy in the afternoon
• USB points next to the bed didn’t work

A comfortable place to visit
Nice place and cocoook for a vacation. very suitable also for a Christmas holiday with friends and family... essentially a very nice place and highly recommended in the year iniiiiii. I love this place and I will visit again

The best service.
Health pillows on our bodies, comfortable when used even waking up in the morning healthy terrace in the body does not interfere with the nerves when sleeping and neck feels comfortable.
