Cozy, comfortable, ideal place to spend days in the mountains, you will feel at home
We are now 3 years that we stay with 3 other families at the Hotel Sole del Baldo. If you are looking for a quiet place, clean, cozy, comfortable, convenient to the ski slope, with an outdoor area where children can play with the snow, have fun with sledges, dinghies, pans (available for. customers) the hotel Sole del Baldo is the ideal place.
Downside? Yes, always the usual :) you eat well, very well, the cooks always offer a variety of dishes such as to always satisfy everyone's tastes and needs and even pizza choice. I thank the owner of the structure for his warm welcome, Florina for her friendship and all the staff (I only quote the very nice and always smiling Ana) for their availability, we will not fail to return to visit you.

An isolated corner of tranquility
We spent 4 lovely family days in early January.
The hotel is located in a strategic area for those who want to ski as it is right on the connecting slope.
Extraordinary strength is the kitchen. I suggest using the half-board formula to not miss the succulent dishes they offer every night.
The aspects on which you should work are the wi-fi connection in the rooms and the use of the common areas (wasted the room on the ground floor as a ski and boot warehouse).
A special mention to the fantastic Florena, which with its professionalism and helpfulness is the true soul of this place!

50 minutes for 2 pizzas is too much
We waited 50 minutes for them to bring us a pizza. They served 4 tables arrived later. To our complaints for having waited so long (after 30 minutes we solicited asking why the pizza did not arrive) the Response was, after 50 minutes : we had problems (we did not understand which ) the first pizza was pierced (?) then other problems

It can be improved
We stayed at this hotel from 3 to 10 August with a group of families (over 30). The hotel is in a good location but lacks services as it is 10 kilometers from the nearest village and there is no bus service. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, the food is good and plentiful (apart from breakfast where the salt was missing and yogurt was given to us mid-stay) and the staff always available. The agreed price was good never services that we had been offered, were very low or non-existent, room cleaning every day (it was done a sweep in the room but not in the bathroom) change of towels mid-stay (there was not). The phone signal only in the street, the bad wifi (only worked at the bar), we are in 2024, we expected more. The facility had allocated us a room for our activities but lacked a TV or projector. The TV in the room took only 4/5 channels but not Rai 1 and Rai 2 so the Olympics were not seen. If you have animals then things get complicated, apart from the surcharge of 15 euros per day despite the cleaning of the venia room made by the owner of the animal, having had a change of family mid-stay in a room where there had been a dog, the second family found numerous animal hairs.

Hotel Sole del Baldo, Bright sun
Second consecutive year of holidays in the Sun, family, welcoming environment, beautiful and comfortable rooms.
The only flaw is that you eat too well :), don't think about dieting. Beyond the jokes, the entire staff from the owner to the manager Flo and all the staff are always available to satisfy guests' requests.
An ideal place for everyone, a plus for families, for comfort and the services necessary for a ski holiday.
Next to the Sole there is a treadmill for beginners and for those who want to have fun with sleds, 50 meters away is the track that takes you to the lifts, tables outside, attractions such as swings for the little ones.
The quality/price ratio is unmatched.
