Short stay in Licata

Everything ok, host very helpful and room really spacious, good breakfast, we stayed two nights. It is near the center, we parked under the see and breakfast and there was no need to take the car anymore, the host pointed us to several good restaurants within walking distance

Marco brings his 'A' game to this B & B

My wife & I are on our 2nd tour of Sicily (we came last year for 3 1/2 weeks) & this time around we wanted to include a few smaller towns. Licata has a rich ancient history & is an exporting powerhouse for some things but is struggling for identity in modernity. Marco & his B & B, Limpiados, is a glimpse of how things could & should go. He picked us up at the rail station-though it is close enough to walk-and treated us more like family than clients. The accommodations are clean & spacious with access to a shared balcony. Breakfast was tailored to preference with a touch of Siciliano thrown in for good measure (fresh lemon granita & brioche followed by espresso is typical in summer). We explored the town & saw the sights in a day but staying at Limpiados with Marco as host can warrant an extension. The locals are a tad aloof at first but offer a smile & give your fledgling Italian a go & you'll see the gleam of appreciation on their faces. Grazie mille!

Outstanding host

We’ve just spent a few days in the wonderful Limpiados B & B. It was close to the beautiful old town, near a couple of beaches and near the marina. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and spotlessly clean. But it is Marco himself who made our stay so memorable. He is an incredible host - nothing seems to be too much trouble for him.
For breakfast he provided freshly made lemon granita, local pastries, fruit from his own garden, coffee, and anything else his guests asked for. He knew all the best places to buy fish, arancini, almond biscuits etc.
He collected us from Agrigento after we’d been to the Valley of the Temples, sorted out an issue when our late running train meant we missed a connection to Palermo, took us on a short tour around the town when we arrived - he is so knowledgeable and proud of Licata and its history.
Marco is truly the best host ever - we were so lucky to be his guests.

Deludente

Non è da me lasciare brutte recensioni però in questo caso è bisognoso farlo.
Partiamo dalla cosa più importante per quanto mi riguarda, i letti.
Materasso duro come il marmo, troppo scadente per la sensibilità che c’è oggi su questo tema.
Bagno vecchio e doccia mal ridotta, l’acqua arrivava a tratti calda e a tratti fredda.
Aria condizionata troppo rumorosa.
Il proprietario molto scucivolo e poco interessato.
Bisognerebbe investire sull’appartamento magari acquistando qualità.

Quasi come a casa

Eccellente struttura al centro di Licata, vicina al vecchio centro. Camera pulita ed accogliente, e bagno grande. Colazione abbondante che comprende sia dolce che salato. Gestione molto disponibile si per consigli che necessita’ . Ci ritorneremo sicuramente
