리조트형 시설이 아닌 만큼 공용 온천장은 크기가 작고 다만 객실과 온천장 이동은 편리한 동선이였습니다. 온천 객실은 일반 객실과 구분되니 예약시 사전 확인이 필수적입니다. 피트니스 센터 역시 공간이 협소하고 답답하게 느껴졌습니다. 넓은 로비 공간 외에는 눈에 띄는 특징이 없었으며, 객실 수가 적어 조용하긴 하지만 호텔 내부 공간이 전반적으로 좁아 여유로운 분위기를 기대하기 어려웠습니다.
객실은 지나치게 건조하여, 가습 효과를 위해 욕조에 물을 받아도 큰 효과가 없었고, 난방기를 꺼도 여전히 건조했습니다. 특히 숙면 후 목이 따가울 정도로 불편함이 있었습니다.
호텔의 가장 큰 장점은 청수사 인근에 위치해 고즈넉한 분위기를 즐길 수 있다는 점이지만, 다른 지역으로의 접근성이 떨어지고, 주변에 편의시설이 부족해 불편했습니다. 또한, 교토 택시 기사들조차 위치를 잘 몰라 Park Hyatt를 기준으로 설명해야만 찾아갈 수 있었습니다.
다만, 오픈 초기 호텔답게 모든 시설이 매우 깨끗하고 청결했던 점은 인상적이었습니다.
