Fantastic!
Of the best hotels for me.
Very attentive service, staff with a great sympathy.
The rooms with a magnificent view, where it is possible to hear the constant noise of the sea.
Animation all day long , as well as the kids club , where my daughter spent some time , always with different and interesting activities.
The food is very good, as are the varieties.
And highly recommend the recently refurbished blue wave restaurant! A very good experience!
In summary, a hotel to recommend and to return

Don’t go there
Terrible hotel, rooms are very old. Worst are bars and restaurants. On pool they have terribly dirty glasses ( when I asked why, waiter told me that washing machine can do it better), snacks during the day is below fast food quality. Sun beds are almost broken when you seat on it. There is only instant caffe on the breakfast. Indoor pools is cold and dirty. Only good is friendly reception and waiters in restaurant.

Great value for money. Our toddler son loved the stay.
We stayed in a very large suite on the 4th floor. The best part of our stay was the happiness we witnessed from our toddler son who had an extra bed in the living room area and a tent built there for him, which he loved.
We had a wonderful meal at Onda Azul and Lucy, the restaurant manager, was kind enough to spend some time on a quick walk with our 2-year-old son.
The graphic design is very interesting in bright blue and orange.
Service in general was very friendly both for dinner at Onda Azul but also at Calheta for breakfast in the morning.

Deception on the see side view
Stay of a week that leaves me a bitter taste. We booked a see side view room and ended up in the building at the back of the main hotel (connected by a glass walkway to the main building ). The 2 buildings are separated by a busy road to which the balcony opens. Our view was therefore facing the building , with the noise of the road and a tiny and ridiculous side view of the sea across the walkway if you sit standing at the end of the balcony, sitting on the furniture of the balcony, you will only be allowed the view of the building and the noise of the road... nothing to do with the photos found on the booking sites. A real DECEPTION...for an extra fee. Our complaint on the spot was not followed up, the reception staff showed no complacency towards us, no gesture was anything but commercial.
No respect for the client.
The equipment of the room is minimal, absence of any decoration in the living room, the sink of the bathroom is placed on a base of 50cm leaving no room to put a toilet bag that is on the floor or in the bidet ..
The extra bed of the convertible is of poor quality, 80cm wide for an adult and a mattress worthy of a camp bed
. The buffet is ok but the restaurant room is very noisy. The room staff was absolutely correct
In short, extremely disappointed with the room and the customer's care...a real deception on the images of the booking sites

The customer is not respected
Big disappointment because I had paid an extra for two sea side view suites and I ended up with rooms with road views and very noisy (see photo) . I immediately indicated my dissatisfaction but the hotel made no effort. No alternative offer and no refund of the surcharge paid for the sea side view suites Do not book a sea side view suite as the photos of the booking sites are misleading and the hotel staff mock your claim.
As for the hotel, we notice very quickly that it dates from the last century and that a serious renovation is necessary.
The restaurant is of just decent quality. The food is good but the coffee for breakfast is undrinkable. I found a date jar with ants inside. Yoghurts are diluted with water. The noise level in the restaurant is very high. To use the safe you will be charged 19eur (incredible but true). If you watch a video with the TV it is 12.5eur (the movies are not recent). I don't understand how guests can give this property the highest rating. No respect for the client. You can only find better.
