11-19 March 2025 Room 1609

I recently had the most fantastic 8 night stay at this hotel. My initial view of Doha was clouded by a nearly 2 hour wait at immigration and then my card not being accepted by the Karwa taxi. The lovely receptionist assisted me in changing £s to Riyals so I could make payment. He was so calming and pleasant which made such a difference. I was allocated room 1609 (a standard room) and was speechless. I cannot imagine a more nicer room. It was perfect. I cannot think of anything negative to say and I was so happy that I’d made the right choice. The room was spacious and had a wonderful view of the lagoon and skyline. There is ample storage space, a digital safe, iron and ironing board, coffee machine + pods, kettle and constantly replenished complementary water. There is a minibar with the usual nibbles and soft drinks. I’m a stickler for cleanliness and this hotel exceeded my expectations. The attendants came twice a day!!! A special thanks to Juliet, Khur and Nazre for the wonderful towel art. The shower and bathtub were in the room but could be separated from the bedroom area by a sliding door. I had breakfast included in my package and there was so much choice. I’ve mentioned Kunulu in a separate google review who very helpful as was the Kenyan man with short dreads. I’m sorry I didn’t get your name. Every single person was so nice to me in the breakfast area. It was a pleasure to eat there. I did order a few room service meals via their digital menu QR code and they were all excellent. I used the gym several times while I was there but unfortunately the pool was closed due to maintenance. The hotel is next to Lagoona Mall where you will find a carrefour supermarket and numerous shops and restaurants. You are within walking distance of a metro station (Legtaifiya) which will take you to most places. If you can’t get there by metro, Uber is extremely cheap. The cost from the hotel to the airport cost me less than £10. A daily metro ticket costs 6 Riyal which is around £1.28 which is insanely cheap for a Londoner. We are used to paying so much more. I cannot speak more highly of this hotel and I’m so glad I chose it. My friend opted to stay in a hotel closer to the corniche but I’m so pleased with my choice. I cannot speak more highly of this hotel and aim to make a second visit.

Aesthetically it is an absolute Gorgeous Hotel! Super clean, housekeeping are superb! Accomodation and service is exceptional! We had a wonderful stay. There is a shopping Mall called Lagoona Mall right next door to the hotel that carries high end brands like Chanel. Special Thanks to Mrs. Aya and Mrs. Wejdan at front desk. They are amazing and extremely helpful. Wejdan prepared a wonderful surprise for my daughter's occasion a very sweet and memorable gesture, and Mrs. Aya was very courteous to extend our check-out to accomodate our late flight. The Ladies Elegant Hair Salon are Experts! My daughter styled her hair outside the Hotel it frizzed in 20 minutes we re-did her hair at the Mondrian Hotel and the Lebanese Stylist did an outstanding Job see photo! A Special Thanks to Mr. Abdullah whom helped arrange an Uber car for me and was very courteous to help pay for it when I did not have local currency. Everything in this Hotel was amazing! Breakfast was high quality culinary. Josh was creative with the eggs, all the breakfast Team were attentive to our requests and greeted us with a warm welcome each morning. We stayed one week they actually memorized our pattern and prepared our table in advance we were very flattered by this personable gesture, Thank you! We are definitely returning, Thank You To all the staff and the wonderful surprise that welcomed Us in our room our first night. We truly value you all for this very memorable experience at the Mondrian doha. It does not get better than the Mondrian doha I promise just look at our personal photos!! Mondrian Doha is just DIFFERENT! I am in LOVE with this Hotel! It's beauty doesn't do it Justice!
