Well done Benidorm East.

Great hotel, rooms cleaned every day to a great standard, clean towels every day. Evening meals are excellent choice and plenty of it. Nice indoor pool, staff helpful.
My only issue is that you are restricted to water in the evening meals.
Would prefer a hot drink .
Ignore the bad reviews.
Would recommend and re visit.
Oh and they put on a free bus to town.

Awful experience, very uncomfortable.

Staff are so rude! Bald man with a moustache at reception had an awful attitude and clearly felt entitled, approached two young girls with a lot of anger. Visited Benidorm every year for past 3 years and definitely the worst hotel we stayed in. Lights kept going on and off in the rooms, phone didn’t work, asked for toilet roll many times and never got any more. Had cheesy chips and water thrown onto our balcony by people above which we tried to speak to reception about however phone wasn’t working. Was asked to “cover up” by staff whilst wearing a top and shorts although there was people in bikinis. Definitely wouldn’t return again. Staff need to learn how to treat customers.

Awful staff

I’ve been staying in Benidorm over the past few years and this is the worst hotel that I’ve ever come across. On the first night we had boys in the apartment above throwing down forks and food and threatening to come to our room, which as two young girls was very terrifying. We tried to contact the reception through the phones but these did not work which was a common thing throughout the stay. We had to repeatedly ask for more toilet roll from staff who didn’t care and just rolled their eyes when we needed assistance. The light went out in the bathroom on the last day and again we couldn’t get in touch with reception The food/drinks are ridiculously overpriced 39 euro for two club sandwich and one portion of chips and two cokes. Staff behaviour is seriously astonishing I could not believe the way we were spoken to. From a lady on the breakfast reception who asked us to cover up when wearing a top and shorts when others were in bikinis A bald man with a mustache from reception spoke to us in a disgusting manner with absolutely no respect. We were honestly speechless from the way that he approached us ,so volitile. He asked us to “sit well” when others had been lying asleep on the couches days before. This would not have been a problem at all but the manner in which he spoke to us was absolutely unacceptable we were in shock. Definitely would not return the staff behaviour and attitude towards customers is absolutely astonishing.

Good, friendly clean hotel

Overall a good, clean hotel. Staff polite and friendly, the hill was a put off but the free shuttle bus every 20 mins was brilliant, meaning we could go up and down it with ease.
The little gift shop on site was nice and handy, and the owner totally welcoming and friendly.
Only downside was we arrived late (10.30pm) on a sunday,everything was shut, after a long day travelling we couldn't get a drink or anything to eat and no kettles in room, a little welcome basket with a sndwich and coffee would have been nice.

Great hotel for a short break in Benidorm

Travel company dropped use off 4hrs before we should have checked in, staff sorted our room in 2hrs and it was spotless. Room was ample for a couple with comfy beds, clean bathroom, fridge and decent size balcony. AC was the best we've had in years. We were only B&B but the breakfast was good with both cold buffet and cooked full English, although the coffee wasn't the best.
The staff are very friendly and respectful even when dealing with the groups of stag and hen do's. Who whilst we were there didn't cause too much bother with the fruity language kept to a minimum and general friendly banter all round.
Security on site was visible and regularly patrolled the hotel and didn't tolerate any inappropriate behavior as we witnessed when a gentlemen had fallen asleep on the sunbeds rather than going to his room one morning. He was asked to leave and escorted from the pool area for his own safety. The pool is open between the hours of 10:00-20:00 which gave staff plenty of time to clean the area and everybody abided by this. There was always ample sunbeds to go round even with some being reserved. Or alternatively there is a good sized sun terrace to sit at.
Bar food and drink was good, not watered down and reasonably priced compared with the restaurants down on the strip.
The hotel also provide a free courtesy bus down to the strip which saves you walking down, albeit it only takes about 15-20mins or so to walk down. But the hills coming back might not be for everybody due to the steepness on some parts. Overall our experience at this hotel was really good and we would happily go back.
