Short break at Barcelo Tenerife
Myself and my daughter stayed here for 4 nights it was not long enough and we were sad to leave. The hotel is beautiful and our room was clean and housekeeping did an amazing job every day. The beds are very comfortable and the air conditioning is good.
The food was lovely and there was lots of choice every time we went. The snack bar is fantastic also and the lady there is friendly and makes amazing egg mayo baguettes. My daughter wanted this everyday we stayed.
There’s a supermarket a short walk away which we visited to stock our mini fridge in our room although there was tea and coffee making facilities in the room and 2 waters left by house keeping everyday which was a nice touch.
We did venture out during the day and taxi fares were very good and to Siam mall it cost around 25 euros or there’s a bus outside the hotel which cost us 2 euros to los cristianos. This is the best hotel we have stayed in and we have booked to go back in June 26 for a longer stay as 4 nights was not long enough.
The hotel is very good and staff couldn't do enough for you during your stay. Yes it was windy but the hotel can’t control the weather but it was lovely and sunny our whole stay. Thankyou Barcelo Tenerife for an amazing holiday we will be back.

Great family holding - high standard of food
We visited Barcelo Tenerife as a family of 9, ages ranging from 3 to 63 and we all loved it!
I had previously visited Barcelo Lanzarote and was impressed with that so had high hopes for Tenerife, we were not disappointed. The food was by far the best all inclusive resort food we have had ( having visited many all inc resorts over the years) the selection was fresh, lots of options, always fresh grilled meats, salads, bread etc, not the usual 'meat in a sauce' most all inclusives serve. My husband also has a severe nut allergy - this resort made it easy for him to choose food. I had read some reviews about how annoying it was to book a table but actually for larger groups it's a great idea and the restaurant never felt over crowded.
The entertainment, we expected to be a bit cheesy but were very surprised by the standard of it and the variety, a different show every night, all outside, and entertainment round the pool some days.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The only small improvement we would suggest would be upgrading the rooms which feel a little dated, but are all so spacious with lovely balconies.

Honest Review
Honest review .. on arrival the hotel is stunning . Reception staff were very welcoming and check in was smooth . Just note a card needs to be taken on arrival as a deposit . Our bags were taken to our room which was a nice 5 star touch . Rooms are spacious , beds very comfortable and view was lovely . Bathroom is ok with shower and bath. Enough storage for two people however you do have to pay to use the safe. Kettle with tea and coffee are in room , however these are not topped up daily you have to constantly ask for these and water isn’t left in room daily . Toilet paper ! Take your own , it’s so cheap and thin we took our own however the cleaners took it on day 3 not good , make sure you hide it . Don’t bother using the Barcelo App as no one responds , no tasks are completed and we were also told the App is out of date , it says on there you can hire bikes which we were looking forward to but you can’t . Pools were quiet until day 5 then they became very busy . No need to rush down at 5am for sunbeds there were always plenty available even up until 10 / 11 am . pools are very cold but this is due to the windy weather ! The wind here is unbelievable,this obviously isn’t the hotels fault but I have never experienced wind speeds like it whilst laying on your sunbed . Pool bars are nice and drinks are ok on AI there are extra drinks you can purchase . We didn’t try the food at pool bars so can’t comment. View from infinity pool is lovely straight on to sea , no beach as such and you can’t go into sea for rocks etc however it was that rough out you probably wouldn’t want to go in anyway . Restaurant is quite big , they recommend you book but we got a table each time we went so we didn’t do so. Flies are shocking both outside and in restaurant, all over the food I’ve never know anything like it . Food is very very repetitive, not warm and not a huge of choice . Same dishes are on nearly every night . They do themed nights however this consists of one dish . Both myself and partner were both ill after eating the pork so just be careful .The surrounding area outside the hotel - you can walk in either direction and you will find plenty of restaurants, shops and a few bars . One side is tacky one side is quite Spanish . Either way it’s nice to get out and go for a stroll on an evening or when weather is cloudy . Please note don’t bother doing your hair on an evening it is so windy there is no point . Weather is not great , never got above 25 , cloudy until around 10/11 am some days later and the wind started early morning and lasted until bedtime ! We personally will not be back , due to weather , food , flies , and lack of 5 star service . I have stayed in better 3 star hotels . We paid just over £1600 per person for 10 nights AI - I personally don’t think it’s worth it . Unfortunately Tenerife and Barcelo Tenerife are not for us .

Exquisite looking resort, and lovely, fun, passionate hard working staff
The buildings and decor were absolutely beautiful—so unique compared to other Canary Island holidays we’ve been on. I especially loved the cultural workshops, where you could try completely new foods and drinks while learning more about local traditions. Such a fun and immersive touch!
The entertainment team made the stay extra special. Samuel was full of energy and constantly had us laughing—he always made time to stop for a chat and encouraged us to get involved in all the fun. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does.
Victor was just as lovely—always smiling and eager to share insights about Canarian culture. Both of them work so hard, and it really shows. They added so much to our experience.
We also really enjoyed the kayak lake, the variety of cocktails, and the food in general. We didn’t pay extra for any of the restaurants, and honestly, if you’re all-inclusive, you don’t need to—the main buffet and snack bars were more than enough for us.
As for Royal Level—it didn’t seem worth the upgrade. We barely noticed a difference for those guests. I think they have their own pool facing the sea, but it’s quite a walk from the main building, which could be a downside. Don’t feel like you need to pay extra to have a great time—there’s already so much included!
We’d definitely come back—and we’re not usually ones to return to the same place twice!
