Wonderful!

So genuinely nice and friendly! The staff went above and beyond to make our 2 night stay wonderful. Everything was clean and spotless. The breakfasts were delicious and lots of choices.
Tip: Definitely have dinner as it’s home made and so authentic.

A dream place where all worries disappear

A dream place in Kairouan, if you want to stay in a fairytale palace, this is the place! Extremely kind staff, even if we arrived late in the evening, and the local food - delicious. We were impressed by the cleanliness, good taste, kindness - a basket full of fruits was waiting for us in the room! Thank you for the perfect stay!

Great place to stay in Khairouan

Very friendly welcome from the family. Pity we didn’t book ahead and have dinner in the hotel as I’m sure it would have been good. Car parking in the basement but best to stop nearby and ask them to show you. Luxuriously furnished traditional rooms

Comfortable, convenient and costly.

On arrival, your worries evaporate. Beautiful old home on inner edge of medina, local delicious food, owner welcome, generous roof seating, especially clean. Good coffee always available. Remarkably an elevator! Staff go the extra mile to guide one amidst a typical complicated street pattern. City ramparts add to charm. Higher priced than other comparable dars.
Kairouen and its mosque are essential stopovers to understand the Islamic foundation of Tunisia. Counterpoint to Tunis and Bourguiba regime.

Authentic Kairouan in the Medina, real magic

Real authentic experience, just next to the Grande Mosque right in the Medina. You live like a Bay or Sultan there.
This place is like living in a historic museum- in a good way! They have a lot of passion and really take care of your individual stay.
