Not good
Food was OK but main meal arrived in two parts
Room was OK but not what we paid for
Would not recommend it for more than 1 night

Very very good, comfy stay, welcoming staff, lovely meals
Superior room overlooked street outside and the town hall. Very comfortable. Bathroom delightful, the little touch to "seal" the toilet roll on the holder was nice.
Secondary glazing on window kept noise levels to a minimum, and didn't hear a peep out of other guests.
Dinner was lovely, prices good for a 4* hotel. Would have been a nice touch had one of the staff congratulated us on our anniversary, or msg on a plate or similar, as my wife was surprised by the whole night away thing, but can't have it all.
Drink prices a little steep. Like one of the tips says, don't go here thirsty. We found the John O'Gaunt pub welcoming for after dinner drinks.
Parking super easy right behind hotel, but being so close to the station, arriving by train would be simple too.
Overall, we'd stay again at the Three Swans and eat in house too.
